The “Fathers of the Church” are those wise teachers of the first several centuries of Christianity whose writings are seen as expressing, elaborating, and preserving the Tradition of the Church coming down to us from Christ and His Apostles. The purpose of the Church Fathers Blog section of this website is to read through and discuss all the extant writings of the Fathers which available in English translation, in chronological order.
